I previously owned a Tineco A11 Hero. I now have a mixed-breed Sheltie dog, a bit bigger than the one used in the photos. Unfortunately, she has the MC5R gene (Embarkvet genetic testing). My previous purebred Sheltie shed fur, but the newest dog is a shedding fur factory. I formerly spent almost as much time cleaning the pre-filter and emptying the collection container on the A11 as I did actually vacuuming. The brush roller would have to be manually untangled at least twice, having been rendered useless by all of the fur wrapped around it, so I was looking for a new product that would reduce the cleaning time.

I read many reviews about this vacuum before committing to paying the significant purchase price. Many complained about the weak suction power, long hair defeating the tangle-free roller, problems with the self-clean function, and a non-changeable battery, so I was concerned but decided to invest because I was so tired of getting covered in dirt and dust when using my A11.

Compared to the A11, the Pure One Station (POS) vacuum has more suction and automatically increases suction and thus battery drain as needed. This is an improvement over the A11, where the user had to manually increase the power from the lowest setting to Medium or High each time they turned the vacuum on. Perhaps those complaining about weak suction want a portable stick "Shop Vac," not a residential vacuum cleaner. Perhaps they also do not self-clean the vacuum when the container fills.

The tangle-free brush did have a few furs around it after I completed vacuuming the entire main floor, but I did not even need to use the brush cleaning tool to remove the little fur that remained.

I found that the self-clean function worked as advertised. I did not overfill the collection bucket and self-cleaned the vacuum, a one-minute job, about five times vacuuming the main floor. When I was done, the 6 L Station collection bucket was half-full. It won't last longer than a month for me, but then I have a mutant, fur-shedding dog. It was much easier to empty the Station collection bucket just once at the end of my cleaning.

The battery runtime, says the fine print, is based on no power attachments. The vacuum will not run the time estimated with power cleaner heads attached. I suggest that 30 to 40 minutes would be the most one could expect. Granted, my POS vacuum has to work harder than most with all of the fur. The runtime is equivalent to what I was getting with my Tineco A11.

It would be nice to be able to purchase spare batteries that the user could swap. I hope to see that in a future model of this vacuum.

The Tineco smartphone is not yet sophisticated, but it accurately reads the battery charge when the vacuum is connected to the POS, provided you back out and select the vacuum device again. It does not appear to update in real time.

On balance, I find little to criticize and much to love about my new Pure One Station Furfree Stick vacuum. I recommend it.

I love my new cordless vacuum! I have a house full of animals, three large dogs and two cats, and this vacuum handles all the fur with no issues. It is very light and the best part compared to my old Dyson it is very quite and no more emptying the canister! Would highly recommend.

Running Auto mode need improving the suction of equipment will be perfect. I am satisfied with design and job performance so far.
