Do you have to vacuum an area first before using the Floor One?

There is no need to vacuum an area first because the Floor One can vacuum and wash the floor simultaneously.

What kind of floors it can be used on?

The Steam can be used on non-carpeted floor such as vinyl, tile, and sealed wood floors.

Can this be used for dry vacuuming? Can you just vacuum without using water?

The Floor one can‘t be used without water for dry vacuuming. It will cause damage to the brush roller. Ideally you should use the Floor One with solution and water to automatically adjust solution and clean water flow to ensure an ideal cleaning result.

Can you use a third party cleaning solution?

It is not recommended to use a third party cleaning solution because the floor washer is designed to be used with the Tineco Cleaning Solution to optimize the amount of bubbles that are produced with cleaning solutions. Third party solutions can cause an over abundance of bubbles when cleaning that could fill up the Dirty Water Tank within minutes of use.

How noisy is the floor washer?

The floor washer produces up to 80dBA of sound.

How do you start self-cleaning mode?

To start the Steam's self-cleaning mode, please follow the following steps: Place the floor washer on the storage tray. Empty the Dirty Water Tank. The Clean Water Tank should be at least 40% full of water. Plug in the appliance and press self-cleaning button at the top of the handle to start the brush roll self-cleaning mode. The floor washer will automatically shut off once finished. The entire self-cleaning process takes about 100 seconds.

How often I need to clean the brush roll?

We advise to clean the brush roll after each use.

What is the suction power of the floor washer when sucking up water and debris?

Suction power for the floor washer ranges from 10 AW to 18AW (Air Watts) depending on how dirty the floor is.

How long can the floor washer run on a full charge?

The Floor One has a Lithium-ion 25.2V 4000mAh battery that allows it to run 30-40 minutes depending on how often the floor washer is running on max power.

What are the Clean Water Tank and Dirty Water Tank capacities?

The Clean Water Tank capacity is 0.85L. The Dirty Water Tank capacity is 0.72L.

How much solution are you supposed to use for cleaning?

Using the cap of the solution bottle, fill one cap worth of solution and pour into the Clean Water Tank. Fill up the Clean Water Tank with clean water up to the Max line.

Does the water have to be at a specific temperature for cleaning?

The temperature can be between 41°F ~ 140°F （5°C ~ 60°C). Typically normal tap water is fine to use for cleaning. Please do not use hot water as this can cause internal damage to the pipes in the Floor One.

Where should you store the Floor One?

We advise to store the Floor One on the storage tray that is provided with the Floor One. The storage tray allows the self-cleaning function to work more easily as the tray was designed to fit the head of the Floor One.

Can you adjust the flow of water coming out?

The Floor One will automatically adjust the solution and clean water flow to make sure you have the ideal cleaning experience. You can adjust the water flow to maximum by entering MAX mode when cleaning. This will set the flow to maximum for when you have a tough cleaning situation.

What is the flow rate?

It ranges from 20 to 100ml/min in relation to how dirty the environment is.

What are the max button functions?

The max button enables higher speed and stronger spray to help remove tough spots and stains.

Does the cleaning solution have an odor?

No, the cleaning solution does not have an odor, but it can deodorize the area you are cleaning.

Does this unit suck up animal hair?

The unique brush roll can help to remove animal hair and suck it into the Dirty Water Tank.

Will animal hair get wrapped around roller?

Normally this will not happen because the brush roller diameter size is big enough so it can avoid getting tangled. If there is a tangle, just remove the brush roller from its holder and use the cleaning tool to remove the hair tangle from the brush roller.

Do you have to use distilled water?

There is no need to use distilled water. Tap water is perfectly fine to use in the Floor One. Please do not use hot water as this can cause internal damage to the pipes in the Floor One.

Can I use bleach in the machine to clean floors?

We would not recommend using bleach in this machine as it could damage the machine.

Can I replace the Floor One battery?

The FLOOR One battery is built-in. It can't be detached and replaced.

What is the difference between Floor One S7 and FLOOR One series cleaners?

The Tool For Everyday Cleaning

I have the S5 and was looking to upgrade to something more robust for everyday cleaning. This fits the bill. Out of the box it feels durable and expensive. Cleaning function is also much better. Where S5 sometimes left streaks this gives a smooth finish that shines both stone and wood flooring. Also have noticed less allergens in the air. They have updated the cleaning function of this compared to the S5:the self clean actually deep cleans and the dirty water and other solids are nicely separated for easy rinsing. I was already a fan of Tineco wet dry mops (I have recommended them to a lot of people) and this one is far superior to the S5. If given a chance I would recommend S7 over the S5. It's easy and fast for everyday cleaning that makes deep cleansing obsolete.

Truly amazing

My floors never been so clean 🤣 the mop/vacuuum thing is the best thing I could ever get myself! The vacuum alone has so much suction, when you use Max on a carpet, woowww! My whole house (small house sure) was vacuumed and there was 50% battery left. Flabergasted! I couldn't even finish it all with my old cheap vacuum from Amazon. Would 100% recommend.

Very good cleaner

This is my 3rd Tineco and it performs perfectly. I have always had just a vacuum but this S7 combo is very nice. It does an amazing job cleaning/washing the floors and then cleans its own brush - great feature. Longer battery life is nice and although it is a little heavy, the assisted wheels makes the job easy. My only wish is that the unit would charge on both the cleaner and vacuum stand rather than just the cleaner stand.
